ST. LOUIS — Better Business Bureau invites charities, other nonprofits and their board members to learn more about measuring their effectiveness at BBB’s Charity Symposium, Charting Your Impact, on Thursday, Aug. 28, at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac.
Art Taylor, president and CEO of BBB Wise Giving Alliance, will explain how charities can chart the impact they are having, using tools recognized throughout the nonprofit community.
Anne Kessen Lowell, executive director of SouthSide Early Childhood Center; and Becky James-Hatter, president and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri, will share techniques for staying on course with strategies focused on their effectiveness. Kevin Drollinger, chairman of BBB’s Charity Information Service committee, will provide an overview of BBB charity initiatives.
The symposium, which includes a continental breakfast, begins at 7:30 a.m. Aug. 28 and will conclude by 10 a.m. Tickets are $35, or $30 for BBB Accredited Charities or organizations sending two or more representatives. Sign up online at http://www.bbb.org/stlouis/events.
