ALTON − Greater Alton greeted its own Baby New Year Thursday morning.
Grayson James Douglas, 8 pounds 10 ounces, was born at 8:24 a.m. at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Grayson is the son of Kellie Lavite and Cory Douglas, both of Wood River. His grandparents are Pete LaVite of Wood River and Rhonda LaVite of Panama City, Fla., and Ben and Cindy Douglas of East Alton.
