TROY — The Pentecostals of Troy, 8965 Rt. 162, are pleased to introduce 5th Quarter.
5th Quarter will occur after the Sept. 5 and Oct. 17 Triad High School home football games, from 9:30 to 11:30 p.m. There will be food (for a minimal charge), games, music, door prizes, giveaways and highlights from the football game. This will be a drug/alcohol/tobacco free zone, supervised by volunteers from the church. Those with a valid Triad High School, or Middle School, Student ID will be allowed to enter.
At 7 p.m. Aug. 28, Dr. David Bernard, general superintendent of the United Pentecostal Church International, will be the guest speaker at the first anniversary celebration of the Pentecostals of Troy at their new location. Bernard earned a doctor of jurisprudence with honors from the University of Texas, a master of theology from the University of South Africa, and a bachelor of arts magna cum laude in mathematical sciences and managerial studies from Rice University.
