Mary E. Pashoff, 93, of The Delmar Gardens in Creve Coeur, Missouri and formerly of Granite City, passed away at 7:05 p.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at St. Luke Hospital in Chesterfield, Missouri.
She was born June 17, 1921 in Granite City, the daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Korteyese) Bozo.
She married Carl N. Pashoff on May 17, 1941 in Granite City, and he passed away on June 30, 1987.
Mary had retired as a purchasing agent after over 15 years of dedicated service with Boatmen’s Bank and Bank of America. She was a member of the St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in Ballwin, Granite City Elkettes and the V.F.W. Woman’s Auxiliary in St. Louis. She was an avid bowler and was a member of the Granite City Sports Hall of Fame for her many bowling achievements. She enjoyed playing golf, enjoyed baseball and was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. She will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Johanna and David Potter of Wildwood, Missouri and Judith and Leonard Hile of Lenexa, Kansas; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.
In addition to her beloved husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Anthony.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Friday, August 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon.
